Fake Nuclear Core

Context:

This was more of a fun design challenge. I wanted to design and create a one-of-a-kind interactive fake nuclear core, similar to a movie prop, but one that you won't find in any movie. I designed the core myself based on what I had seen in movies and video games. I decided to design a unique, futuristic nuclear core that you might expect to see in a sci-fi movie. 

The electronics used in this project included:

• Arduino Nano – chosen for its compact size and ease of integration, used to control the LEDs and speaker housed within the core.

• Ball tilt switch – used to detect when the core was picked up or moved, triggering the lights and audio system.

• An 8-ohm speaker - used to inform the user that the core has been "Activated"
